Robin Arnold Obituary

Robin L. Arnold, 55, of Wolcott, died unexpectedly on February 21, 2024 at her home.

Robin was born to Charles R. Arnold Sr. and Myra Arnold on May 20th, 1968 in Morrisville, Vt. She grew up in Wolcott and attended People’s Academy.

Robin had a generous heart and a beautiful soul, always choosing to find the good in everyone.   She spent her days, no matter the weather, venturing outside, often walking the trail between her and her brother, Chucky’s, home. She’d spend the day swinging outside, swimming with Shakira and Charlie, and often enjoyed rides with Dad downtown to run errands. Robin frequently looked forward to Kerry-Ann or Mama’s home cooking. At the end of the day, she’d make her way home, through the woods she loved, to take care of her treasured cats Emma, Sky & Mittens.

Robin always looked forward to hosting cookouts at her home. Especially when her sister, Sis, would visit from Virginia.  In between visits they often enjoyed long conversations.  She’d always make sure the phones were charged so those cherished talks were never cut short!  During those calls they would frequently enjoy music together, Robin often requested Sis play Good Times by George Strait or Barbed Wire and Roses by Pinmonkey.

In addition to Robin's eclectic taste in music, she also enjoyed drawing and sketching. She filled folders with her drawings, often portraying the mountains and trees she so enjoyed.

Robin is survived by her father; sister Linda (Sis) Cleveland of Pittsfield, Va.; and brothers Charles Arnold Jr., & wife Kerry-Ann of Wolcott, Vt.; Shawn Arnold and wife Shelly of Morrisville, Vt.; and Melvin Arnold of Wolcott.  Robin and her niece, Morgan Arnold, shared a very special bond and considered themselves to be sisters.  Additionally, Joanie Smith and Dylan Arnold, while not siblings, were also blessed to have shared a very special relationship with Robin and they loved her deeply. Robin also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Robin was predeceased by her beloved mother, Myra E. Arnold; aunt Linda Arnold; paternal grandparents Raymond and Grace Arnold; maternal grandparents Earl Peno and Hortense (Peno) Cleveland, and cousin Myra Duprey.  Robin also greatly missed her best friends Al & Debbie Olsen.
