Richard Frederick Hoadley

Richard Frederick Hoadley 54 of Eden VT passed away March 5, 2025 after a short illness at UVM hospital. Rick was born April 14, 1970 to Lewis and Rosemary Hoadley in Morrisville VT. 

He married Lisa Benway, August 25,2001 who he shared 4 children with. Later in life he met Darcie Hayden who he shared his life with until his death. In which he gained 2 more boys. 

In his early years he worked for Raymond Belanger. Rick then went on to work for Capital Earth Moving. For the last 20 years Rick has worked for Dale E Percy. Rick was very meticulous when it came to his work, he took great pride in every job he did. Everyone who knew him said he could make his excavator Isabelle dance. 

Rick is survived by his partner Darcie Hayden. His children Teal Richardson and husband Logan of White Mills Kentucky, Chelsea Hoadley and partner Jamon of East Hardwick, Kyle Hoadley and partner Taylor of Lowell, Coralynn and partner Gage of St. Albans, his 2 bonus boys Cody Small and partner Briana of Morrisville and Chase Small and partner Abby of Salisbury MD. His 9 grandchildren Layne, Audrey and Walker all of Kentucky, Paislee, Aurora, Calum Hudson, Winston and this fall Sawyer. 

He is also survived by his parents Lewis and Rosemary of Morrisville. His siblings Rodrick (Mary) of Johnson, Dawn of Alaska, and Teddy(Tracy) of Port Charlotte FL. He leaves behind close family friends Billy and Sandy Reen. Good friend and work partner Shawn Murphy and many friends.
