Reba Pauline (Desmarais) Hill

Reba Pauline Hill, 98, passed away Thursday February 8, 2024.  She was born in Fairfax, Vermont on July 21, 1925 to Oliver and Eva (Desmarais) Hill.

Reba married Clifford Hill, Sr. of Elmore.  She worked for many years at the Johnson Woolen Mills.  Reba also helped her husband in the woods during the time he logged and drove Pulp Truck for Merrill Hatch of Morrisville.  They both loved their children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Clifford (Ruth) Hill, Jr. of Elmore, Clifton (Paulette) Hill of Johnson, Pam (Robert) Cookson of Elmore, Elaine Labree of Elmore, Donald (Kathy) Hill of Morrisville, Michael Hill and Pat Murphy of Elmore and Barbara Middlestead of Canada, 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5+ great great grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her children: Francis Hill, Joyce Lamphere and Raymond Lamaire.  Reba was also predeceased by her siblings: Doris Hinson, Lewis Desmarais, George Desmarais, Norman Currier and Edith Despault.

There will be a private family service in the summer.
