Raymond L Messier

GREENSBORO BEND- Raymond Messier, age 78, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Greensboro Nursing Home.  A life-long resident of Greensboro Bend, Raymond was born to Alexander and Yvonne (Marceau) Messier.  He will always be remembered for his Yankee ingenuity, fishing stories, and love for his family.  

Raymond leaves behind his wife, Elaine and sister, Evelyn (Messier) Gauthier as well as nieces and nephews; Diane Martin, Lorraine Gauthier, Daniel (and Robin) Gauthier, David Gauthier, and Ronald (and Donna) Gauthier.  He is also survived by Jessica Martin, Michael Gauthier, Michele (and Aran) Johnson, Nicholas Gauthier, Juliana and Leah Johnson, Alexander Gauthier, Hailey Parish, and Lucie Gauthier.  Raymond was predeceased by his parents, brother Ernest Messier, sister-in-law Blanche Messier, and brother-in-law Arthur Gauthier.

A graveside service will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10am.  A Funeral Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
