On December 8, 2020, Precious Hill, loving mother of Star Schulze, passed away at the age of 50 in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.
Precious was born on July 24, 1970 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts among her large and loving family, and graduated from Waltham High School in 1988. She earned a track scholarship to UMass Amherst where she was a star 800m runner. Precious lived in Florida, The United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Michigan before she moved to Vermont and reunited with her sisters and mother.
Precious loved the Lord. She was a devout and self-proclaimed Christian Lady. She had a big heart and worked as a nurses’ aid, volunteered, and found meaning in helping those less fortunate than her. She was quick to help those in need, buying food, clothes and gifts for both friends and strangers.
Precious was preceded to the Lord by her Grandfather Walter Hill, Grandmother Leonora Hill and Father Gerald Hill. She is survived by her mother Judith Hill-Sartwell, her sisters Maria Hill, Susan Hill and Kasey Hill, and her loving daughter Star Schulze.
A memorial for the immediate family will be held online for Precious. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Precious’s name to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Burlington, Vermont.
