Patrick Donna Obituary

The Lord must have had a tractor emergency because on Tuesday October 22 at 4:30 am he came for Lowell Mountain's Lawn Tractor Whisperer, Patrick Henry Donna.  Just seven days shy of his 71st birthday and after a 17 year battle with liver cancer.    Patrick passed away at home surrounded by his wife and children and so much love.

Even though tractors were his favorite he was also a builder of houses, shrimp boats, cars, motors and trained horses.  He was always busy with multiple projects that he would gladly set aside to hold grandbabies, visit with neighbors, play cards and he deeply enjoyed beating everyone at the game "Sorry".  He also enjoyed making people laugh and going fishing.

He leaves behind his very large blended family of daughters; Jamie Lafontaine and husband Keven Mulvaney their sons, Ryan Lafontaine and Austin Jernigan; Christy Donna and her children Brie Donna and Adam Fulford; Abbie Beede and Tyler Beede and their sons Owen Donna, Charlie Beede and Lucien Beede and his child Kasey Donna.  Wife, Alison Donna and her daughter Desiree Martin and her children Kezia, Wyatt and Michael Dundbar.  He also leaves behind a brother, Alan and a sister, Patricia Rowell.

Family, Friends and neighbors will gather for a celebration of life at his mountain home at 79 Mitchell Road in Lowell, Vermont on November 9, 2024 at 11 am with a luncheon to follow.

Arrangements are with the des Groseilliers Funeral Home in Hardwick.. Memories and condolences in Patrick's memory may be made at dgfunerals.com.
