Noella (Audet) Tillotson

Noella (Noel) Audet Blake Tillotson, 89, of Morrisville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester.

She was born in Hyde Park on December 21, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Yvonne (Boulley) Audet. 

Noel was first married to Donald P. Blake, Sr. She later married Chester (Chet) Tillotson on July 12, 1969.

Noel was a 1952 graduate of Lamoille Central Academy in Hyde Park.  She started her banking career in 1953 and was employed at Franklin Lamoille Bank ( now TD Bank) for 32 years, retiring in February, 1992.  She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 9653 and a communicant of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Morrisville.

Noel served on the following Boards at various times: Lamoille County Court Diversion, Lamoille Family Center and Holy Cross Parish Council and Finance Committee.

She enjoyed camping for many years with friends and especially the grandchildren.  She also enjoyed hosting many family holiday meals, volunteering at the Lamoille County Field Days and casino bus trips.  Noel was a long time member of CURVES to stay in shape.  Most of all she cherished time spent with family and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Noel is survived by her children; Donald (Donnie) P. Blake, Jr. and wife Julie of Morrisville, Daniel Blake, Sr. of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey Blake and wife Paula of Silver City, NC, Ricky Blake and Chris Hamel of Waterbury, VT, Jerry Tillotson and wife Cheryl of Montpelier, VT and Rhonda Schriber and partner Jeff Douglass of Morrisville, VT.  Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her siblings; Andrew Audet and wife Nancy of Morrisville, Roger Audet and wife Elessia of North Hyde Park, Theresa Lortan of Burlington, Claire Loyer and husband Fred of Colchester and Jeannette Peno and husband Earl Sr. of Wolcott.

She was predeceased by her husband Chester Tillotson, her parents and siblings, an infant brother Roland and her brothers; Arthur, Paul, Ronald, Denis and Maurice Audet.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Morrisville with burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Morristown.
