Neal MacNeal, 75, a romantic, an artist and maker, woods rambler, rockhound, voracious reader, New York Times puzzle slayer, Yankees fan, wicked cook, curious lifelong learner and teacher, wry commentator, oldies crooner, computer guy, hitch hiker, animal whisperer, poet soul, devoted friend, and loving husband, died peacefully on Friday morning, January 5, 2024 in his bed at his Johnson home, as he'd wished, after a life honestly and courageously lived.
