Lynn Manning, 60, of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 14, 2026.
Born on July 29, 1965, in Morrisville, Lynn was the daughter of Darlene Manning and the late Royal (Dean) Manning. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Ruby Boyce.
Lynn achieved her GED in 1983. Throughout her life Lynn served in many roles to include Town Clerk for the Town of Morrisville, employed by the State of Vermont Department of Child Development, and as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) and Med Tech. She found her true calling in caring for others through her work as an LNA, a role she held with great pride and dedication. Her compassion and commitment left a lasting impact on those she cared for throughout her career.
Lynn is survived by her loving family: her mother, Darlene Manning; her sister Kathy McKnight and husband Dana McKnight, her son Richard Wallace and his partner Alexa; her daughter Cheyanne Bumps and her fiancé Nick; and her son Jesse Miller and his partner Courtney. She was also a cherished grandmother to Ava, Cohen, Delia, Gunnar, Claire, Abel, Briar, Maggie Dallis, Edisynn, and Harlow. Nephews include Alan McKnight and Brad McKnight. Lynn’s family brought immense joy to her life and will carry forward the love and memories they shared with her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to the Westview Meadows for the Residents Activity Fund.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 26, 2026 from 2:30pm – 5:30pm at the VFW Post 9653, located at 28 VFW St., Morristown, VT.
