Linda Diane Miller Audibert, 78, of Johnson, Vermont, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on May 19, 2026. She lost her third and final battle with cancer, but she never lost her faith, spirit, sense of humor, or dignity.
Linda was born to Warren Sr. and Audrey Miller of Morrisville, Vermont. She was raised on a farm alongside her brothers, Royce "Sunny" and Larry, and her sister Debbie. Her upbringing instilled in her a tremendous work ethic, unwavering faith in God, and a deep devotion to family. She loved caring for the animals, exploring the land, and spending evenings gathered with family- listening to music and singing together. And they sounded amazing, too!
In high school, Linda became close friends with Alice Audibert, whose older brother Louis was serving in the U.S. Navy. Alice introduced the two, and it quickly became clear they were meant for one another. Linda and Louis were married on April 19, 1969, beginning a beautiful 57-year marriage filled with love, laughter, hard work, gardening, endless conversation (imagine that), and unwavering devotion.
Together they raised four boys: Michael, Mark, Matt, and Daniel. Linda dedicated herself wholeheartedly to being an incredible stay-at-home mother during their younger years, later working for the Lamoille North Supervisory Union once the boys were older.
Linda's faith was at the center of her life. She was a devoted member of her Christian church and found great joy in serving others - whether attending Sunday services, volunteering at church dinners and rummage sales, or typing the weekly bulletin. Her kindness, generosity, and faith touched countless lives.
Linda also had a wonderful sense of humor-which was necessary if you knew Louie and their four sons. Family movie nights often included classics like It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Cannonball Run, Airplane, The Naked Gun, and of course, Seinfeld.
In 2000, Linda was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and given only a 20% chance of survival. Through six months of grueling chemotherapy, extraordinary medical care, and the grace of God, she fought courageously and survived. At the time of her diagnosis, she had no grandchildren.
Over the years, that number grew to ten beautiful grandchildren, who became one of the greatest joys of her life.
Nothing made Linda smile more than talking about her grandchildren. She was endlessly proud of each of them - not only for their accomplishments, but for their kindness, character, individuality, and respect for others. Treating people with kindness was deeply important to Linda, and anyone
who knew her can attest that she lived that value every single day.
Her beloved grandchildren are Dominic, Carter, Ryan, Elan, Natalie, Hattie, Everett, Calvin, Audrey, and Autumn.
Linda was surrounded by Louie and her sons Mark, Matt, and Dan in her final days. She was comfortable, at peace, and free from pain. Linda felt deeply blessed knowing she was entering the Kingdom of Heaven, something she had faithfully prepared for her entire life. She was truly an angel on earth - and now she has the wings to prove it.
She will be missed tremendously, but her kindness, strength, faith, and love will never be forgotten.
Linda was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael Audibert.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis Audibert; her sons Mark Audibert and family, Matthew Audibert and family, and Daniel Audibert and family; daughter-in-law Lara Audibert and family, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A burial service will be held on June 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery in Morrisville, Vermont. Refreshments will be served at a location to be announced at the burial service.
