I just heard this news today.  My deepest sympathies to John's family and friends.  I grew to know John over the past several years through the Vermont Veterans Summit.  He was instrumental in helping me get the first one off the ground.  He supported the Summit financially and through his advice and participation.  I will truly miss, John.  He was a good man.  Rest in Peace, John!

John was indeed a very hard worker. But his kind Soul is what I remember the most. From my Grandparents to my Brother and my Parents. He always showed our family love and respect. Thank you John for helping with so many of our loved ones. May you rest in the arms of God. In my prayers. Robin LaPan

Dear Rosalie,
I was so sorry to read about your tremendous loss of John.  I've always appreciated how close the two of you have been.  I also remember John telling me about his early attraction to you back in, I think, seventh or eighth grade. I'm sending you lots of love!

I did not know John well, but over the years had occasion to have a couple of good conversations with him. These led me to like and admire him and to appreciate his depth of feeling, kindness and sensitivity to people of all types. Condolences to all his family.
