Eleanor Audibert, 83, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. Born on February 15, 1942, Eleanor lived a life marked by dedication to her community and love for her family.
Eleanor was a long-time resident of Johnson, VT and a proud alumnus of People's Academy, reflecting her long-standing connection with her local community. She went on to enjoy a long career with Grand Union, retiring as a store manager and leaving behind a legacy of hard work and genuine care for the people she served.
Eleanor’s talents and passions extended far beyond her professional life. She was an avid crocheter, a passionate gardener, and a regular volunteer at local VFW events, Field Days, and church bazaars, sharing her warmth and kindness wherever she went.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Audibert and AnnMarie Pursel; her son, Thomas Audibert; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Kristin, Heather, Eamon, Garrett, and Carly. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Amelia, CJ, and Bella, who brought her immeasurable joy. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernest Audibert, and her granddaughter, Alex Pursel.
A memorial service will be held in the spring, when family, friends, and neighbors will gather to honor Eleanor’s life, reflect on the warmth she shared, and celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
