Diana Fay Marie Boland, 34, of Stowe, VT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 22, 2026, from natural causes.
Diana was born August 20, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia to Tom Boland and Brittany (Draper) Evarts. She attended school in Morrisville, VT at Peoples Academy and CCV.
Her life-long dream of becoming a mom came true when her daughter Awen Raiah was born in 2017, Diana’s sidekick and the love of her life.
Diana worked as a carpenter for Baker Builders, a painter for Dragonfly Painting and most recently as Head of Maintenance at Stowe Motel. She took pride in being a female in a man’s world, working in the trades and excelling. She was also an artist and an author, drawing and illustrating pictures to be published in her book.
Diana was a great lover of all animals, stray dogs, dragons, fairies, witches, Vikings, ravens, being Irish and most importantly children and her family. She loved fiercely and was unapologetically herself. She enjoyed the role of being a mom and a big sister and was no holds barred when it came to her brothers. She was a follower of spells and all things Wiccan.
Diana is survived by her daughter Awen Raiah of Stowe and Diana’s partner DJ Peters and his children Addie and Wesson, whom she thought of as her own, and his family. She is survived by her parents Tom and Sarena Boland of N. Wolcott, and Brittany Evarts and James Smith of Christiansted US Virgin Islands. Brothers, Maverick Draper of Fort Bragg, NC., Devon Evarts of Christiansted, US Virgin Islands, and Thomas and Oliver Boland of N. Wolcott. Sister and Best Friend, Ariel Love and God-nephew Tanner Love of Colchester. Diana is also survived by grandparents, Diane and Jeff Jones of Hyde Park, Debra Moodie of N. Wolcott and Joanne McMahan of South Carolina, and by Lori and Brandon Jones of Morrisville. She leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, far too many to list, but know you were all very important to her.
Diana was predeceased by grandparents Steven (Humpy) Draper of Elmore, William (Bill) and Sheila Boland of Hyde Park and Brendan L. Moodie of North Wolcott, uncle Willie Boland of Hyde Park and Awen’s father Lenny Audet of Morrisville.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2026, at 2pm at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish located at 301 Brooklyn Street, Morrisville, VT. and a Celebration of Life to follow immediately after at the Morrisville VFW.
In lieu of flowers, a special fund for financial support of her daughter Awen is being created and can be mailed to: Boland Family, 5119 North Wolcott Road, N Wolcott, VT 05680.
