Daniel E Marckres

Daniel E. Marckres, 58, of Morrisville, passed away on December 26, 2024. He was born in Morrisville on March 31, 1966 to Donald and Janet (Belval) Marckres.

He graduated from Lamoille Union High School and Green Mountain Technical and Career Center in 1985 and later married Quedabond J. Hodgdon in April of '92. Daniel treasured time spent with family and friends and was a lover of all animals and children. He will be remembered for his big, kind heart.

Daniel is predeceased by his wife and love of his life, Quedabond, his son Justin Donald Marckres and his parents, Donald and Janet.

Daniel is survived by his son Taren Daniel Marckres, his sister Michelle Fellows and her husband Craig, his sister Jennifer Draper and her husband George, his nephew Tyson and family, niece Stacey and family and niece Christine and family. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins he held dear to his heart.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00am in Wild Branch Cemetery in Craftsbury with a Celebration of Life to follow at the American Legion in Morrisville. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Danny's memory to North Country Animal League or Justice For Dogs. Arrangements are with the des Groseilliers Funeral Home.
