Claude Joseph Cloutier

Claude J. Cloutier, 72, passed away Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin.  He was born in Hardwick on January 31, 1952 to Wenceslas and Lucienne (Boyer) Cloutier.

Claude worked in many trades including small engine repair, bodywork, carpentry and wood carving.  He was a jack of all trades and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Jesse Cloutier of Georgia, VT; two granddaughters Genevieve Willette and Olivia Parenteau; two great granddaughters Max and Mila; a sister Huggette Bolio; two brothers John (Phyllis) Cloutier and Lucien Cloutier and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by the children of his long time companion Sara Goad;  Austin Isham Jr., Dolida Dolly Kennison, Marena Mead and Della Hall and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents; Sara Goad; and his sisters Jycelynne Cloutier and Ginette Demers.

A graveside service will be held Thursday June 6, 2024 at 11 am in the family lot at the Fairview Cemetery in Hardwick.
