Bianca Jean Mackay

Bianca Jean Mackay of Boothbay, Maine (originally from Glover, Vermont) passed away Saturday evening, January 6, 2024, surround by her loved ones at home. Bianca was a Halloween baby born on October 31, 1997 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont to Deborah Wesoja and Christopher Mackay.

Bianca graduated from Lake Region Union High School and studied Psychology at the University of Southern Maine. After moving to Maine and working at Coach she had planned to move to Montana with her boyfriend Zach, their cat Crowley, and their dog Lana.

Bianca, known as “B” to friends and family, was known for her infectious laughter, beautiful smile, and outgoing personality. She loved theatre, Broadway, art, crystals, outdoor adventures, a variety of music, and all animals.

In addition to her parents, Deborah and Christopher, she is survived by her sister Kristen Gonyaw, brothers Levi Mackay, Drew Mackay, and Tyler Mackay, grandparents Ron and Joyce Pray and Bob Mackay, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Orleans Municipal Building at 11:00am. At the request of the family, please consider giving a donation at the door to go towards the Vermont Family Theatre in Bianca’s memory.
