Angela Dawn Whitney

Angela D. Whitney, age 53, of Walden, VT passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT with her family by her side after a long courageous battle with cancer. A stubborn, kind, caring heart stopped beating, and Angela now joins her dad, George R. Whitney in Heaven. 

Angela was born on January 13, 1967, in Saint Johnsbury, VT to George and Ruby (Bumps) Whitney of East Hardwick, VT. Angela has shared 24 wonderful years with her partner Lucas Molleur also of Walden, VT. 

Angela worked for many years as an LNA at many different places. Angela enjoyed cows, spending time outside and with her grandbabies. She also loved spending time with her family, cooking, and visiting with friends. 

She is survived by: her partner, Lucas Molleur of Walden, VT; her mother, Ruby Whitney, of East Hardwick; her three daughters, Amber Foster and husband Zachary of East Calais, VT, Amanda Nash and husband Colby of Greensboro, VT, and Shyler Thompson and fiance Riley Tobin of Jeffersonville, VT; her siblings, Timothy Whitney and wife Jennifer of Hardwick, VT and Lori Major and husband Kevin of Barre, VT; her grandchildren, Kearsten, Payten, Noah, Allie, Nevaeh, Kinslee, Lennix, Laycie, Elijah, Lettie, and Raylan; many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

There will be no calling hours or funeral. A celebration of life will be held in late July. More information to come.
